Local Pro Credentials

Chimney Repair Service matches each homeowner with a vetted local pro serving their area. Homeowners who want to review a pro's credentials are welcome to request that documentation directly — ask through the contact channel on this site before a scheduled visit and the assigned pro can provide it, typically within one business day. The chimney work itself is governed by the written estimate you approve and by the workmanship warranty that goes home with you when the job is complete; that warranty covers issues attributable to the work performed and does not cover pre-existing conditions uncovered during service, weather damage occurring during scheduled work, or damage caused by customer-supplied parts or materials.

Emergency Service Terms

Our 24/7 emergency line at (754) 328-2421 is answered every night and every weekend and routes urgent calls to a pro serving your area. Emergency response is handled on a triage basis: active leaks entering the home and chimney fires take priority over post-storm assessments and animal-removal calls. After-hours emergency work is billed at standard rates plus a one-time dispatch fee disclosed when you call. That fee is waived for active chimney fires and for customers on an annual service plan in good standing. Emergency dispatch does not guarantee arrival within a fixed window; the pro will give an honest estimated arrival time on the call and update it if it changes.

Real-Estate Transaction Inspection Terms

Inspections performed for real-estate transactions are quoted at the standard rate and the findings are shared with the booking party (buyer, seller, agent, attorney, or insurer); they will not be shared with other parties without the booking party's written authorization. Inspection findings are descriptive, not predictive — they report the chimney condition observed at the time of inspection and make no guarantee about future performance, component lifespan, or the absence of latent defects undetectable by visual inspection.

Service Area and Coverage

Standard service rates apply across the cities our local team covers, listed on the Areas We Serve pages. Service to addresses on the edge of a covered metro may carry a travel surcharge disclosed at booking. Coverage and the specific pro assigned depend on availability in your area; a coordinator will confirm both when your request is routed.

Dispute resolution preferences and customer protection

Our local team is built to resolve concerns before they ever become formal disputes. The discipline is in the process: each job starts with a free estimate, finishes with a clear summary of the work, and is followed by a check-in confirming you are satisfied. If something is off on that check-in, the assigned pro makes it right — that is faster and cheaper for everyone than any formal proceeding, and it is how a service brand earns repeat work and referrals.

That said, the formal terms above govern any situation that escalates past the check-in. If you ever feel the work did not meet the standard the estimate promised, your first step should always be to call (754) 328-2421 and request a return visit. If that does not resolve it, the matter moves into the formal terms — arbitration in the customer's home state with neutral selection, written claim documentation, and binding outcomes. We aim never to reach that step with any customer.

Why these terms exist and what they actually mean for customers

The Terms of Service on this page exist to set clear expectations between Chimney Repair Service and the homeowners who use this website to learn about, request, or book chimney services through our local team. They are not meant to be a legal trap that disadvantages the customer in surprising ways; they are a standard agreement that lays out the basic ground rules for using the site and the service it represents. Most customers never need to read them in detail — the service relationship runs smoothly without anyone referring back to the agreement.

The terms cover a few things worth putting in writing: who we are as a business, what services our local team provides, what we promise (and do not promise) about the website itself, how disputes are handled if one ever arises, and what limits apply to our liability for the website (separate from liability for the chimney work itself, which is governed by the workmanship warranty). None of this is unusual for a service-business site; the structure mirrors what you would see on any reputable contractor's website.

A few practical points are worth knowing. First, the terms govern your use of the website and the service requests that originate through it. They do not govern the actual chimney work, which is governed by the free estimate and warranty documents you receive when you schedule. Second, the terms reference our privacy policy and cookie policy by link rather than restating them here; please read those separately if you have data-handling questions. Third, the terms can change over time, and the date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.

Acceptable use of this website and limits on automated access

This website is intended for current and prospective customers and for people researching chimney services for their own knowledge. It is not intended for competitors extracting scope or content for commercial reuse, scraping tools downloading content in bulk, or bots submitting fraudulent service requests. The terms reserve our right to restrict access when we detect abusive automated usage, implemented in practice by the rate-limiting and bot-detection layer that runs quietly behind the site.

Ordinary customer activity does not trip any rate-limiting or bot-detection alerts, because normal volume sits well below any defensive threshold. Anyone using the booking form, the estimate form, or another interactive feature as designed will have no trouble. The defensive layers matter only for the small share of access attempts that look like automated abuse, and even those are usually slowed rather than fully blocked, so a legitimate visitor caught in the cross-fire can still finish with only minor delay.

We do not require accounts to use the website. There is no login, no profile, no account management — every interaction happens as an anonymous visitor who supplies contact details at the moment they want to schedule. This is a deliberate simplification that streamlines the experience and shrinks the personal data we hold. It also means there is no account to be hacked, no password to remember, and no account-related terms to read.

What we promise and what we explicitly do not promise about the website

We promise the website will be available the vast majority of the time, that its information is accurate to the best of our knowledge when published, and that any service request submitted through it will be reviewed and routed to a local pro for follow-up within one business day. These commitments match how our local team actually operates across a high volume of interactions.

We do not promise one-hundred-percent uptime. Like any website, ours has occasional brief outages from hosting maintenance, internet routing issues, or our own deployments. We work to minimize them but cannot eliminate them. We do not promise every page is updated in real time as offerings or coverage change. There may be short windows where a page is mid-update; a coordinator will always confirm current scope and availability on the booking call regardless of what the page shows at that moment.

We do not promise the website is the definitive source for all chimney safety information. The trade has several authoritative sources (NFPA standards, CSIA recommendations, manufacturer documentation for specific appliances), and this site summarizes a subset of that material for homeowners' convenience. For comprehensive safety guidance beyond what is here, those trade-organization sources should be consulted.

Liability limits, dispute resolution, and governing law

The liability limits in the terms apply specifically to use of the website and to claims arising from website use. They do not apply to the chimney work itself, which is governed by the workmanship warranty and the consumer-protection law of the state where the work is performed. If you have a concern about completed chimney work, the workmanship warranty is the primary mechanism for resolving it; the website terms are not involved in that process.

If a dispute arises that the warranty process cannot resolve to mutual satisfaction, the terms specify the customer's home state as the governing jurisdiction and venue for any formal proceedings. In practice this provision is rarely invoked — the large majority of disputes are resolved through direct conversation between the customer and the operations team, often with a remedy that exceeds what the warranty strictly requires, because the long-term relationship matters more than the short-term cost of making it right.

The dispute-resolution path we prefer (and recommend) is to call the same number you used to book and describe the issue. A coordinator routes the call to the operations lead or to a senior member of the assigned crew depending on the nature of the concern. Most issues are resolved on that first call or with a scheduled follow-up visit; the formal warranty-claim and legal-proceeding mechanisms are last resorts we hope never to use with any customer.
